In the wake of the torrents and floods that were recorded today in several regions of the sisterly state of Libya as a result of Hurricane Daniel, which claimed the lives of hundreds of victims, recorded thousands of injured and missing persons, and great losses in infrastructure and property, the President of the People’s Voice Party, Dr. Lamin Osmani, comes forward in his name. In the name of all the party’s activists and members, I extend my deepest condolences and deepest sympathy to the families of the victims and to the brotherly Libyan people, praying to God Almighty to cover all the victims with His vast mercy, to make them dwell in His spacious paradise, and to inspire their families and loved ones with patience and solace.
We belong to Allah and to Him we shall return.
The party commends the position of the highest authorities in the country in providing humanitarian aid and means of support and relief, which will enable, God willing, this brotherly country to overcome this difficult ordeal that has befallen it.
